The appointment of J. Willcox Brown '37 as general manager of the Dartmouth Outing Club, to succeed Daniel P. Hatch Jr. '2B, was announced last month by the trustees of the club. Brown, who was undergraduate chairman of the Outing Club last year, began his new duties on September l.

Mr. Hatch resigned his post as general manager to go with the Phoenix Mutual Life Insurance Company and is now stationed in the Boston office of that company. Brown, whose home is in Montchanin, Del., was a member of Palaeopitus, Cabin and Trail, Green Key, the Canoe Club, and Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. He attended Tower Hill School and majored in Economics.
