September 22 "The men of 1925 are to the upper classes an unknown group, but the older men are more than willing to admit the newcomers to the Dartmouth brotherhood and to aid them in every way. There could be no warmer welcome than that which this college extends to a class from which it expects much."

September 28—"Forty-one members chosen for Glee Club." Tenors—F. J. Aiken '25, C. V. Elmquist '25, G. Joslyn '25, J. F. Lawler '25. Basses—C. E. Blodgett '25, N. Colwell '25, R. H. Gaskill '25, R. L. Sharp '25, H. S. Talbot '25.

October 10—"Freshman Eleven Trips Exeter on Own Grounds Bjorkman blocked a kick and paved the way to Reeder's touchdown in the last few minutes of play."

October 18—"C. A. Bolles of Brooklyn was elected president of the freshman class .... other officers were: vice-president, T. P. Carpenter; secretary, A. F. Greer; treasurer, R. W. Taylor; representative to the College Club, R. C. Borwell."

October 25—"College Will Readmit No More Flunk-Outs. Decision of Faculty Adopted Only after Exhaustive Study of Past Scholastic Records—Change Most Drastic in Years."

October 26—"Freshmen Annex Easy Victory in Track Meet—Little Competition Is Offered to 1925 Men by Three Upper Classes. Exceptionally good time in the quarter-mile was made by E. B. Blake '25, who came within one second of equaling the best time recorded in last year's intercollegiates .... and was high point scorer, taking two firsts and one second."

Next month the Secretary will explain a system of "district secretaries," which should do much to unify and strengthen the class. Meanwhile, we would certainly like to hear from some of you, and REMEMBER from now on send all news which concerns you or other '2sers to the Secretary for the class records.
