A letter from Mr. Snow, October 21, stated that she then expected to go with a granddaughter to see the Dartmouth-Harvard game of football and also to see the play, "Richard I," in the evening. From the score it is probable that Mrs. Snow attended the Harvard game. We wish she could have attended the Daxtmouth-Yale game to help keep the "Yale Jinx" a little further away.
Newton writes that he had seen Rose, who had recently visited Wiswall, whom he found fairly comfortable. Billie says he asked Rose, who is so near Wiswall, to make further calls with greetings from the class. Mr. and Mrs. Newton stay in Newton Center, Mass., this winter.
Rose recently attended the centennial of the church at Merrimack, N. H., of which forty years ago he began a ten-years pastorate. Rose says this is the fourth church of which he was once pastor to have an anniversary celebration which he has attended. Think of all the children of couples whom Rose married who were introduced to him!
On October 31, a card from Biff in Brunswick, Ga., said that he and Mrs. Kelly and her brother would in two days more reach his home in St. Petersburg, Fla., under the palms, where they would spend the winter.
Newton and I renew our November invitation to '86 to send greetings and notes they would like to have included in a mimeographed class letter at Christmas.
Thanks to '87 and congratulations for copy of fourteen pages of pictures of '87 in freshman and senior years, and also of many 50-year reunion groups of '87 men and families at Hanover last June. We shall eagerly anticipate seeing a copy of the '87 50-Year Book, now being prepared by a committee of that class.
