Walter D. Cobb was confined to his bed for a few weeks, following two slight shocks just before Christmas.
The Secretary has received a collection of poems entitled "Liberty and Other Poems," printed in 1936. The author is "Sailor" Cook, who uses for his poetry the name "Albert le Chef."
A delightful letter from Sidney G. Walker was received by air mail in about forty-eight hours after posting in Honolulu. Sid writes that business is decidedly better and that his two sons are doing well in their respective positions. Honolulu was beginning to feel rather severely the shipping strike on the West Coast, but at the writing the diet essentials were still obtainable.
Dr. George A. Dickson, non-graduate, died in Ogden, Utah, on December 28, following the effects of a stroke which he suffered two years ago. See Necrology.
