Class of 1906

A card from Shorty Davis speaks of a delightful afternoon spent recently with Charlie and Alma Milham at their home in Williamsburg, Va.

Bucky Kraft, president of the K-M Supply Corporation, has some new addresses. His business is now located at 119-123 West Bth St., Kansas City, Mo., but he has moved his residence across the state line to 86th and Mission Road, Overland Park, Kans. "T" Brown also has a new address: Room 1515, 393 7th Ave., New York City.

Alan Beetle, who received his bachelor's degree at Dartmouth last June, is now engaged in graduate study in the department of biology at Harvard.

Bob and Mrs. Adriance have recently announced the engagement of their younger daughter, Evelyn, to Dr. Edwin Kenneth Miles, assistant professor of German at the University of Maine. Evelyn, who spent her first two years of college at the University of Maine, is now a junior at Middlebury College, where she is majoring in music. The young couple expect to be married next summer, and Evelyn will have the novel experience of returning to Maine as a senior in the university and young faculty bride at one and the same time. Her fiance is a graduate of Lawrence College in Appleton, Wis., and holds the degrees of master of arts from Northwestern University and of doctor of philosophy from the University of Pennsylvania. He has also studied at the University of Munich and the Sorbonne.

The Adriances' older daughter, Jane, who was graduated from Oberlin with high honors last June, is now studying for her master's degree at Columbia in the department of sociology, where she holds a residence scholarship awarded her on the basis of her record at Oberlin.
