There is a lamentable lack of class news, which accounts for our inability to be represented in the April issue and also the shortness of our report in the present issue. There are some classmates who have heretofore favored us with accounts of themselves and their doings and other interesting happenings who seem to feel they are under no further obligation to contribute further news and information about themselves to their Secretary. They should wake up and understand that we cannot manufacture news for this column.
It is gratifying that some classmates have very kindly revealed themselves and their travels and other interesting items in their letters, which we have been glad to promulgate, and we hope that this will prove a sufficient "prod" to all to come out of their shells and let us hear from them from time to time.
We are glad to hear again from Sam King, that he has been appointed class agent for the Alumni Fund for the ensuing year and no doubt classmates will hear, if they have not already heard, from him, requesting such contribution as they may be able to make to this Fund, which means so much to the College and helps to keep up our interest in its welfare. We should all feel it our duty to help the worthy purpose for which the Fund is established.
Sam's address is still 135 Merrick Road, Baldwin, L. 1., N. Y., and the opportunity is slipping away and the time is growing shorter within which contributions should be made. SO LET HIM HEAR FROM YOU AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
As this is his first year as class agent, we hope that everyone will feel it his personal privilege to contribute something this year and aid in his efforts to collect a substantial contribution to the Fund. Not only that—but drop me a line right away so that I may have something to write about.
