The annual meeting of the class and association secretaries was held at Hanover on May 7 and 8. As usual, the secretaries were guests of the College while in Hanover. Our secretary not being able to attend on account of the sickness of Mrs. Cate, Doc Lougee as usual came to the rescue, thus preserving the record of '88.

Pat tee, Fred Lewis—more honors. His recent book, "Mark Twain," which Gregory commended so highly in a letter to the Secretary written two weeks before his passing, has now been selected by the American Institute of Graphic Arts for their fourteenth annual exhibit of the best fifty books of the year. We understand this award is made with special reference to typographical excellence. His publishers, the American Book Company, must early have been convinced that the work was worthy of so fine a dress. Again I offer the suggestion that Pat send a complimentary copy to each member of 'BB.

Secretary, 11 Oak St., Belmont, Mass.
