THE GRILL ROOM Of Thayer Hall, upperclass dining center, has been named the Richard Hovey Grill in honor of Dartmouth's poet. The room, designed to provide the robust, masculine atmosphere which Hovey loved, will have as its main attraction the murals now being painted by Walter B. Humphrey '14 to depict Hovey's Eleazar Wheelock.

The murals completed to date by Mr. Humphrey are being installed in the Richard Hovey Grill at the present time. They include the chorus panel and the two large panels which Mr. Humphrey painted in the Carpenter Hall studios in Hanover this summer. The remaining large panel and a few finishing touches on the installed panels are expected to be completed later this fall. The grill will be opened to the public when the murals are finished. Beer will not be served in the grill, it has been decided by the College. The bill of fare will consist of steaks, chops, oysters and other specialties cooked to order.
