Frederick "Bemus" Pierce is spending the winter in Hanover, as he has now been doing for several years.
Frankie Newhall writes that he is still in Uniontown, Pa., and still with the Republic Iron and Steel Company. He has been with them thirty years and has seen the company grow tremendously in that time. He has a number of duties as property superintendent, looking after engineering, land sales, taxes, leases, agreements, etc.
Dr. and Mrs. Clarence E. Bryant of
Hyde Park, Mass., announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Jane Whittemore Bryant, to Mr. Stuart Hulbert, son of Mr. and Mrs. Hartley Hurlbert, also of Hyde Park. Miss Bryant was graduated from Sweet Briar College in 1935 and has been doing chemical research work at the Thorndyke Memorial Laboratory at the Boston City Hospital. Mr. Hulbert is a graduate of Amherst College.
