Class of 1889

Last month we mentioned John Barrett's entering a hospital, because of an acute heart attack, on February 1. A personal note written March 5, shows that he is back in his own home in Coral Gables and making good progress toward recovery Earle and Frost represented '89 at the annual dinner of the Dartmouth Alumni Association of Florida in St. Petersburg, March 3. A clipping from a local paper states that "about 60 alumni and familiesattended." Incidentally, this was the first time that "Billy" and "Harry" had met since graduation. Since Earle was a teacher until his recent retirement, he was not able to attend our reunions in Hanover Wellman called on the Secretary on the last day of February. He seems to have made a complete recovery from his pro- longed illness. Hearty congratulations.
