WEEKLY LUNCHEONS at the Olympic Club are popular. These Monday affairs attract many regular and occasional Dartmouth travelers, as well as the current "Townies." However, nothing can take the place of the annual DARTMOUTH NIGHT. Although raining on March 3, as it never does in Northern California, there were forty-six alumni who drove in from all corners to meet at the St. Francis Yacht Club and eat, drink, sing, and TALK of the college they love, all of which wraps up into a neat package of Loyalty to Dartmouth as exemplified in our telegram to Hanover, "As Long As We Can Give a Cheer, For Dartmouth.' Wah-Hoo-Wah "
Next day's evening found the winter sports-minded Dartmouths on their way to Pinecrest in the Sierra Nevada. Guy Wallick '2l had opened his cabin for all who cared to come. Seven feet of snow blocked the doors and windows but in such country there's always a way, and we were soon in by the fireplace and broiling New York cuts, followed by sleep? two days of skiing, etc., with ace high honors going to Bob Morris '36. Most successful and we thank you Guy. Only regrets are that ski-man George Stoddard was in Europe and old-time hosts Smith & Wentworth were unable to be present.
To Dartmouths on the loose, please take note:
