Gene and Katherine Leach were indeed relieved to hear that their daughter, who had been traveling in Austria with friends, has safely arrived in Paris, before Hitler made his entry.

The Secretary and W. R. Brown, recently had a chat in Brown's office m Amherst, Mass., "W.R. is in the insurance and real estate business. He is still a student, as was noted by the row of formidable books of serious nature that lined the top of his desk. His remarks and thoughts re the status of the country, the administration, etc., would not be considered strictly pro-New-Deal.

Warren W. Heald, who was with us freshman year, is still in Chester, Vt., where he is connected with one of the large general stores in that town. He has just resigned from the chairmanship of the school board after serving for many years.
