The Secretary was delighted to receive a call from Blanchard a few days ago. He and Mrs. Blanchard were visiting one of their daughters in Newtonville. Although official records show that he was the oldest member of our class when we entered in 1885 and is now in his 80th year, he is in excellent health and continues to carry the responsibilities of telephone manager for the Barre district and town clerk. In both offices he has the able assistance of his youngest daughter Willis Earle, after spending the greater part of the winter in Florida, has returned to his ancestral home in North Thetford, Vt. The house, thoroughly modernized, is more than 145 years old, and Willis is of the fourth generation to own and occupy the place Ferguson spent about three weeks in Bermuda in February, to help complete convalescence from a respiratory infection. He enjoyed a pleasant vacation (of which he takes too few) and returned with health and vigor fully restored.

.... Kingsbury writes that his oldest grandson, Leon White 111, now in the Boston Latin School, expects to enter Dartmouth next September, thus following in the footsteps of his father '18, and his grandfather '92 The class sends best wishes for a pleasant European trip to "Sully" and his wife. Their sailing date is June 25. Mrs. Sullivan is recovering slowly from an attack of shingles and needs a complete change and freedom from family worries and responsibilities. She will have only one child with her, leaving her four daughters, one son, and six grandchildren behind.
