IN LATE January we were favored with a visit from Sig Larmon '14 and his wife. Doc Duryea 'ax and Don Miller '27 went offshore in the tug to greet them and decorated them with the customary leis. Sig brought us up to date on Hanover matters at an informal dinner held at the Waialae Golf Club. As there were five local boys present who are interested in attending Dartmouth, Sig dwelt on requirements for admission as well as changes in curricula and answered questions by the boys and their fathers who also attended the dinner as the club's guests.
Francis H. Bartlett '35 has recently written a book on Sigmuncl Freud which was published by Victor Gallancy Ltd., London, with an American edition expected in the near future.
Alexander Atherton '36 has returned to Honolulu after two years' training with the Matson Line. J. Frank McLaughlin '3O, U. S. District Attorney here, is receiving congratulations on the arrival of a baby daughter who is a sound bet right now for a future Carnival Queen.
Drs. Hastings H. Walker '21 and Arthur Duryea '21 are outstanding physicians in the Islands specializing in pulmonary diseases.
Interest in Dartmouth is increasing by bounds each year and the current applicants are top flight all-round boys.
