"I like to recall his visit and lecture in Claremont and the wonderful trip we had together to Catalina, when we hunted wild goats over the headlands overlooking the Pacific, until, as it grew dark, he was loth to turn back and finally led the way to camp over the mountains in pitch dark although he had never seen the island before." . .. .Merrill writes (Jan. 30) referring to Hill: " 'Zweite' and I roomed junior year upon third floor of Thornton, and senior year Manson joined us on second floor in what Ed Knight, I think, School for Boys and his granddaughter is attending Faye Secretarial School, Boston, dubbed as 'Bogee Castle.' B Dartt and Fordyce roomed across the hall, and many a good time we all had."... .Milliken has not been so well since last June Present at the Dartmouth Florida Association dinner at St. Petersburg Feb. 24 were Gage, Rice, White and Mrs. White; other men of our time were Austin and Whitcomb 'B5, Kelly 'B6, Frost 'B9, SafEord and Wood '9O. Gage was elected president of the Association for the coming year White's grandson is at Tilton (N. H.) School for Boys and his granddaughter is attending Faye Secretarial School, Boston.
