DELEGATES of Cornell, Pennsylvania and Dartmouth will gather in Hanover on April 28 and 29 for a Tri-College Conference on "Making Democracy Work." This will be the second such meeting of representatives of the three institutions, the annual forum having been inaugurated in Ithaca last spring.
Prof. Robert K. Carr '29 is heading the faculty committee in charge of the conference, while William W. Remington '39, Senior Fellow from Ridgewood, N. J., is serving as student chairman of the meetings. Five other faculty members and 26 undergraduates will also represent Dartmouth on the four round-tables of the conference.
On the committee discussing Private vs. Public Enterprise in a Democratic Society, under the leadership of Prof. J. Milton McDaniel, will be Chairman Louis A.
