Ten years ago this fall, the ground was broken for our Groton cabin which has seen many a happy "shindig" for members of the Dartmouth Outing Club of Boston. To commemorate the event, President Hopkins and Dean Strong journeyed from Hanover to attend the annual trustees' din ner held early in October at the Grot? Inn. A large group was on hand to n them and the touch of official Hanomade it a real Dartmouth night. We also happy to welcome Hanoverites Hans Paschen, Herb McCreery and Prof. CharlProctor.
By the time this goes to press, the lug. winners will have been drawn in D. O. C. raffle. The prizes included ti(0 ducats on the 50-yard line for the Dan mouth-Harvard tussle. The proceeds will be spent for folding chairs so that evened can be accommodated at the cabin. Life wise, that rising social event, the D-H dane after the game at Groton will be a thin; the past. Each year sees a bigger trek to V informal get-together where "sugar foor shuffle" and "turkey in the straw" share the spotlight equally.
Every Sunday during November will touch football games at the cabin. Dartmouth men in and around Boston are cor dially invited to join us at any time. Ft information, do not hesitate to call KEX 1360.
