THE DARTMOUTH CLUB OF VIRGINIA will hold its annual meeting Saturday, June 1, at the home of Dr. Douglas Van- derHoof '01, in Richmond, Virginia, as he has again invited us to partake of his hospitality. This means another unusually enjoyable party, as we spend the after- noon wandering around the extensive gar- dens or swimming in the pool, followed by an always delicious dinner, and then the meeting. Warren Kendall '99, of Washington. D. C., president of the Alumni Council, will be the guest speaker for the evening. The usual notices will be sent members, but any other Dartmouth men who can attend are always welcome.

Jack O'Brion '32 has contributed his share towards a larger representation at Dartmouth from this section. He is now the father of a future football captain, born in February.

Tom Colt '26, director of the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, invited us to a reception last month at the Museum in honor of Paul Sample '20, Artist-in-Residence at Dartmouth. Sample was here as one of three judges at the Bicentennial Art Exhibition.

Dr. and Mrs. VanderHoof returned recently from a month's motor trip to Mexico City, and Charlie and Mrs. Milham '06 returned about the same time from a six weeks' motor trip to California. Both reported fine trips with good weather most of the time.

We are glad to report some new Dart- mouth alumni in Virginia. George Nieley '39 is now located in Richmond with American Suppliers, Inc., a subsidiary of the American Tobacco Company. Richard Mommers Jr. '27 is also in Richmond, representing the Bridgeport Brass Cos. Colin MacLeod Jr. '3B is with Huntsland Farms at Middleburg, Va. Dr. R. C. Potter '35 is at Marion, Va. Howard Van Riper '3B is with the Texas Company in Norfolk.

If there are any others we do not know of let us hear from you. Drop a line to Paul Gibson, Secretary, Grace-American Bldg., Richmond. Any alumni who hap- pen to be in Richmond on Tuesdays are invited to our weekly luncheons every Tuesday at Murphy's Hotel from 12:30 on.
