James Martin has been busy with his construction work this summer. As a junior partner of Adams and Ruxton Construction Company of Springfield, Mass. he has had four jobs going in Hartford, Conn. Incidentally he is now blessed with three sons, James Jr., Bill and Paul. He is living at 37 Dorchester St. in Springfield.

Francis Van Orman has recently been named as vice president and general counsel o£ the Bankers Indemnity Insurance Company. He has been with the Bankers since 1934. He secured his law degree from N. Y. U. in 1927. The New York Times and the Herald Tribune carried a cut and story on his advancement.

The long suffering Lin White's spent three weeks on their bot cruising down the Maine coast this summer. The Bill Sleigh's and the Frank Wallis families spent some time with them, as did the Ken Hill's.

Max Emerson is another '25 man in the service. He is First Lieutenant serving with the Coast Guard.

Unless my eyes played me all wrong, Al Perkins was in the projection room scene in Walt Disney's "Reluctant Dragon" and had a screen credit.

Dick Copeland has shifted his address to 3915 Club Drive way down in Atlanta. He's now Regional Manager for the CAA for the Southeastern United States. Keeps him reasonably busy and home seldom. Dick claims his new daughter is a very fine looking young lady.

And on Friday, the eleventh of July, Jack Reeder took to wife Emleen Laurie Mann. The ceremony took place in Rollins Chapel and the honeymoon was spent driving back to New York so that Jack could keep pace with his desk.

An unconfirmed report puts Sailor Mason in Bermuda with engine trouble and an attack of phlebitis as of July 31.

A headline in the New York Times of Sunday, August 17, says "Kennedy Looks for Orthodox U. S. Financing." The Times ran a recognizable cut of Frank and a full column of the talk he gave to the West Virginia Bankers at their summer conference.

Bob Weinig of Wincharger fame took his family on a three weeks motor vacation to the Pacific northwest. In Oregon they crashed the family car but none of them were badly damaged.

Pete Blodgett spoke at the Maine Bankers Convention held at Poland Springs on July 27-28. He told them about his famous Alaskan trip.

Bob Palmer bought out as of July 1, Judd and Parsons and Parker, prominent insurance agency of Springfield. Bob owns it all now, lock stock and barrel.

Last June 14 Chuck MacMillan married Helga Elizabeth Sahlmark at Ludington, Michigan.

And the phone rang and Dud Smith of Denver was on the line. He was honey- mooning in the East, having taken as his wife Ruth Hollister Mcintosh of Oxford, Penna.

Bill Griffin has re-joined Erwin Wasey and Cos. of New York as vice president. That makes another '2ser doing right well in the advertising business.
