FINAL SPRING MEETING at Portland induced a group of fifty-two to turn out to hear from Sid Hayward who made some very interesting comments about the attitude of the student body towards the war and how the administration has made possible a flexible curriculum to cope with the students' desire to be ready for definite positions in the event of war.

Non-Dartmouth fathers of students were invited and the response and interest of that group was most gratifying.

Officers for the year: president Bill Banton, vice president Cap Cleveland, treasurer Rey Moulton, secretary Al McLean. The first fall meeting is tentatively scheduled for the third Thursday in October.
