We are indebted to Peacham Blanchard for an interesting picture of County Commissioner Morey Lockwood of Spokane Valley, Washington, taken in the Commissioners new office in the Court House October 27th. On Nov. 4th, Commissioner Lockwood presented the Women's Auxiliary to the Spokane Bar Association with a gavel having a historic background. The Spokane Review said "The Commissioner was eloquent in his eulogy of the learned men of the law who used this in the prose- cution of their duties, he cited many a historic figure of bygone days and the notable cases they tried. 'This bit of wood has a thousand tales to tell, could it speak—tales that would put to shame Arabian Nights' he commented as he turned the gavel over to the President."

What's in a name?
The Rev. Mr. Tubbs is a minister in Bath Me.
Our early November mail brought the announcement of the marriage in Southbridge, Mass., on Saturday, November ist, of Mr. Harry Becket Johnson and Mrs. Herbert Ernest Jacques. Now all together 1904; a long K.U.A. for Beck and Mrs. Johnson and a sincere wish for their happiness.
On the evening of October 27 th our dinner was interrupted by the voice of Jack Kirker on the telephone, but the pleasure of a chat with Jack was turned to sorrow when he told me of the tragic death of Mike Dailey which had occurred only a few hours before. In the early fall I had enjoyed a visit from Rosie and he talked interestingly of Mike and his work—they had been together in the Panama Canal Zone, and both were being transferred to the Third Corps area headquarters at Baltimore in August, Mike being made Surgeon of the Third Corps Area at that time. I shall hope on due time to have for our column more of the interesting details of Mike's thirty years of service in the Army Medical Corps. He will be remembered by us all for his modesty and sincerity and his lifelong devotion to the duties of his profession.
The Annual Class Roundup before the Harvard Game was an enjoyable affair for Cronin, Uniac, Sexton, Edgerly, Charron, Streeter, Ham, Bullock, Rollins, Sewall, Mower, Lampee, Leverone, Doonan, Davis, Hobbs, Kneeland, Gale, Moulton, Manguerian, Austin, and two guests, one of Don Hobb's attractive boys and Gene's usual bodyguard from York County, Maine. Jig Leverone, all the way from Chicago, was the long distance winner.
Tom Streeter, Class Treasurer, without treasure, made a brief speech which appeared to be somewhat of an apology for the fact that the class could not go on for another 25 years on a non assessable basis, but there was much encouragement for the continuance of his painless method of financing rather than the adoption of a plan for yearly assessments.
