Carl M. Owen has been asked to become one of the original directors of the Phi Beta Kappa Associates. This is an organization created with the idea of securing subscriptions for the funds of the general organization. It is also conceived that this new organization thus created, would become a continuing group of distinguished scholars, so that election to membership therein would be regarded as a badge of distinction similar to that which a man enjoys in France when elected to the French Academy.

Miss Jessie Ames Marshall, daughter of Andy and Mrs. Marshall was recently married to Ben Ames Williams Jr. son of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Ames Williams.

Hoppy and Celia are now the proud grandparents of John Rust Potter Jr., this young man having arrived recently in Hanover, the son of Rusty and Ann (Hopkins) Potter.

Plans are being made for the Reunion of the Classes of 1901, '02, '03, '04 and '05, the first five classes of the century, to be held in Boston about the 15th of March. This affair seems to be of interest to many in these classes who were in college at the same time, and who seldom have an opportunity of meeting with each other. Keep this date in mind, and further details tails will be forwarded to each class from its Secretary.

The New York crowd continues to meet for lunch at the Dartmouth Club on the first Thursday in the month and everyone should make a note of this, as we can assure you of a royal welcome, and a rare opportunity of meeting informally with old classmates.

Your Secretary can vouch for all this, as he was in New York the first of December, and was able to answer to the roll call on December 5th. Others about the 1901 table were Charlie Boyle, Ted Morehouse, Bunker Bishop, Harry Gilmore, Spud Harris, Warren Rugg, Joe Raphael, and two 1903 men, Curly Morrison and Buckie Lewers.
