Walter B. Reilly '11, general manager of the Lowell (Mass.) Courier Citizen, has been elected president of the United Typothetae of America, according to the December LinotypeNews. It seems master printers get fancy when they get clubby and call themselves typothetae.

Last year Reilly was appointed a Knight of Malta by Pope Pius XII, the most distinguished and highest honor that can be conferred upon Catholic laymen by the Holy Father. Out of the 21,000,000 Roman Catholics in the United States, only 82 have been honored with membership in the Knights of Malta.
