DARTMOUTH'S IN TOWN AGAIN" became fact not fiction for Atlantans and numerous visitors from out of town on March 31st. The Glee Club and Barbary Coast Orchestra included Atlanta in their spring tour and gave an inspired concert before an enthusiastic audience. The Girl's Circle of the Tallulah Falls School sponsored the program and did a grand job of putting it over; the Dartmouth Club in Atlanta with Frank O'Gara '23 as key man cooperated in every way possible to make the event a success and turned out in force to drink in the breath of Hanover brought to the deep south.
The boys put on a high quality program with plenty of variety and the audience lapped it up. We cannot say with certainty that the Atlanta visit was as successful from the boys' point of view, but based on observations at the dance following the concert we feel fairly confident that they had a good time.
The Georgia Club had two recent meetings to plan our part in the Glee Club visit. A regular meeting Feb. 14 at the home of Alva Wilson '25 was attended by nine members and preliminary plans for entertaining the Glee Club were discussed. Again on March 14 twelve stalwarts gathered at Frank O'Gara's to complete final plans and to make merry. We were glad to welcome as new members at these meetings Harry Wason '99, Paul White '19, and Frank Mitchell '30.
