Dr. Fletcher Harper Swift, professor of education at the University of California, was given an award of merit by the American Educational Research Association at its annual meeting held at Atlantic City recently. Selection for the award is considered a high honor. The award was given for Swift's collection of studies entitled European Policies of Financing Education.
