On September 8, Biff and Lillian left the pines in Vermont for the palms of Florida. After a stop with his son, Dr. William P. Kelly Jr., in Carmel, N. Y., he says he shall entrain in New York for St. Petersburg.
Pete and his daughter, Eleanor, made a call on Mrs. Chaffee who recently made a visit of a few weeks in Hingham. Eleanor also says that she and Pete are at present getting on well.
In August, Billie says he attended his second professional baseball game in 40 years. He queries: "stepping out for the old man! isn't it?"
