Your Secretary has just received news of the death of Chauncey Adams on August 25, 1942. After Chauncey graduated from Dartmouth he completed his Theological education at the Chicago Theological Seminary. After filling many pastorates in Vermont, he retired in 1938. For many years he lectured on Biblical History at Middle bury College. There was nothing doleful about Chauncey's exposition of the Christian Religion, for he was a bearer of messages of Hope and Good Cheer. His obituary notice will appear in the next issue of this MAGAZINE.
