THERE HAS BEEN LITTLE to chronicle in Dartmouth Club affairs in Baltimore since last summer, and the secretary has perhaps been rather remiss in keeping track of the doings of members. Apart from the usual monthly dinners two occasions seem to deserve mention. On the afternoon of the Yale-Dartmouth football game we met, with wives and other guests, at L'Hirondelle Country Club in Ruxton for a sociable time, listened to the broadcast account of the game through a fine new radio, and then awarded the radio to the winner of a raffle which we had been promoting for several weeks. This resulted in a tidy little sum for our depleted treasury, which ought to take care of incidental expenses for some time. For the Christmas holidays we arranged the usual luncheon meeting for undergraduates home on vacation. They responded well to our invitation and outnumbered the alumni present. The talk was mainly of the changes in the College due to the war situation, particularly the elimination of vacations and general speeding up of the course. Announcement was made recently of the marriage of Dick Glendinning '40 to Miss Sara Wilson, 'way down south in Anniston, Alabama. Dick was getting lined up for a commission in the Navy some weeks ago.
