Professor Charles J. Lyon is the author of A Non-Osmotic Force in the Water Relationsof Potato Tubers During Storage which has been reprinted from vol. 17, no. 2 of PlantPhysiology.

The following are recent publications of members of the Dartmouth Eye Institute: Improved Model of Kukan's Ophthalmodynamometer, by Dr. Arthur Linksz, which appeared in the American Journal of Ophthalmology, ser. 3, v.15 (6); and Practical Aspectsof Aniseikonia, by Robert E. Bannon.

The Dartmouth Eye Institute has recently distributed its latest publication to all its aniseikonic clinicians. The book, which is entitled "The Measurement and Correction of Aniseikonia," written by Leo F. Madigan of the Teaching and Publications Division, is a manual explaining the use of the eikonometer. The book, published by the American Optical Company, is adequately illustrated and is gotten up very attractively.
