1910 IN CHINA .... As everyone knew, Harold Robinson would not be happy until he landed back in China to do his bit in restoration work .... and in going back he traveled 35,000 miles, saw 4 continents, saw a lot of the world from the air, but could not reveal many details. He did fly from Calcutta to China in an American plane flown by an American pilot who "doesn't smoke or drink and is the type of American one likes to have represent his country in China .... we flew at about 160 mph and at 9,000 or 10,000 feet in the lowlands and up to 15,000 feet over the mountains."

Robbie for awhile acted as comptroller of Yenching University, lived in a Confucian temple .... just what he is doing now is not clear to us ... . but possibly we'll hear before long.

Maj. Johnny Hobbs is still with the Quartermaster Department in Washington Jim Porter looks fit as a king from his life "down on the farm," according to Pineo Jackson Julius Warren received oodles of merited publicity ovei his appointment as head of Massachusetts schools Our Tenner, Dick Floyd, who went to Harvard, became famous in Crimson athletic circles, was re-elected president of the Harvard Varsity Club Jack Dingle, another '10 farmer in Delaware, offered to swap Fletch Burton 1,000 baskets of tomatoes for a like amount of coal, the Rhode Island fuel administrator taking the matter "under consideration." .... Allen Doggett lives in So. Rutland, N. Y Max Stanton's home address is 303 Franklin St., Newton, Mass.

DISCOVERED AT LAST .... Eastern Underwriter ran the following about a w.k. Tenner whose smooth.... well, read it for yourself: "Those familiar with the achievements and mental ratiocinations of Gay Gleason, general counsel, Employers Group, Boston, are not misled by his guileless countenance and taciturn manner. Still waters, etc., etc."

It's great to see so many Tenners reaching the limelight, for they have worked hard and long for their attainments, and merit every bit of them .... this last year seems to have brought more general recognition than in any other similar period . . . . men of our generation still have tremendous contributions for the world.

OFFSPRING—John Washburn is taking his basic training at Ft. Benning, Ga.; his brother, Wid, was divorced from his scholastic-honors courses at Dartmouth, to take up Marine V-12 work at Villanova.. . . .Nancy "Warren is located with her husband, Lt. Robert Reigler, U.S.A., at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, where he is an instructor in aviation ordnance Bud MacPherson with some real destroyer experience under his belt, is now teaching fundamentals at Ohio State Sis is doing hospital work Capt. Chadboume Steward is squadron commander in his unit, and may be overseas by now.

GEORGE MORRIS, Washington Barrister of Renown (and that's a title these days), acts as igio's part-time peregrinating Ass't Sec'y in his spare moments .... latest be- ing an August visit with the Scott Perrys in Buenos Aires. To quote in part: "I called upon Scott Perry, the famous prestidigi- tator," (one of Geo.'s $64 words) .... "he is evidently a man of some importance in this thriving and expanding community .... everyone in the American colony knew him and where he was located His juggling, at present, is concentrated chiefly is divining the wool market, although he confided that he still carries in his pocket some silver coins with which to amaze the beholder, as he used to baffle me while we were undergrads As is the case with the rest of us" (and despite Geo.'s taking in a lot of territory, his statement has jurisdictional limitations), "the balance between the quantity of Scott's hair, and his body, has shifted somewhat since we were in Hanover. His heartiness, his friendliness, and his interest in the college (you know that he has had a son there) is unabated. He is a successful man in a successful community." Thanks, George!

HARRY MITCHELL'S address is 302 Chestnut St., St. Mary's, Penn Warren Shaw lives at 130 E. Ist St. No., Carlinville, Ill... I have seen Jimmy Frame in an Albany hotel twice recently, Jimmy being a Government "explosive expert." .... Bob Woodcock resides at 827 Ridge Ave., Evanston, Ill.... Jack Richmond leads a tremendously busy life as Deputy State Administrator of New York's War Savings Staff, hops all over the lot, makes speeches, gets pictured in, papers, does a grand promotional job. . . .but in the midst of a hectic life, pauses to write, "So the world changes and moves on. One of these days I am planning to retire to Hanover OP its nearby environs. I am hopeful that the day will not be too far off or too long delayed, for I know that it would be exhilarating to breathe again the air of New England and be near that wonderful institution we all love." CHET SCOTT, Wecoma, Oregon, rancher, digs back into college days with this reference to Andy Scarlett's scholastic ability which everyone recognized long before he became an outstanding teacher, and Andy won't thank me for using it, either: "It doesn't seem so long ago that the 'Prof' used to call your name and you had the right answers, while the 'Sco' part of the alphabet came next.... and what a comparison!"

YOUR SECRETARY, like everyone else, is doggone busy, and we can't maintain our class correspondence as of yore, and we can't do a lot of things we used to do .... so I am depending upon you all to keep sending in every possible item about your family and yourself.

Secretary, Canaan St., Canaan, N. H. Treasurer, Turks Head Bldg. Box 1254, Providence 1, R. I.
