Mr. and Mrs. Earl Tom Strickland announce the marriage of their daughter, Dorothy May, to Mr. Winthrop Leonard Manley on Sunday, the 13th of December at Tucson, Arizona.

Then, according to the Worcester papers, Mr. and Mrs. Parker Trowbridge announce the engagement of their daughter, Jean Parker, to Ensign Edward Anthony Whitaker of Providence, R. I. Jean was graduated from North High School and attended Russell Sage College. She is a member of the woman's staff of The EveningGazette. Ensign Whitaker was graduated from Moses Brown School and Williams College. He is a member of Zeta Psi, Gargoyle and Phi Beta Kappa Society.

Frances Morton, daughter of Line and Mary Morton, is now in the City Department of the Boston Traveler and was on the air, interviewed by Jack Stanley on the Traveler program. Frances has been with the Boston Herald ever since she graduated from Smith in 1937.
