I know now how Braden, Harvey, and Tallmer felt when the DARTMOUTH was forced to publish corrections. It's embarrassing as the devil. I know. I have a couple to make this month. First of all my apologies to Ensign Bud Pogue, Private RonnyWestgate, and Miss Mary Schuetz, twin sister of Dunbar. Bud was slated to get married in October, but not to Miss Schuetz. Miss . Schuetz has become engaged to Ronny. Apologies to all in this one. Hope it is straightened out. And Phil Lee writes that his wife's name is Carol Fachnle—not whatever I had it in the October issue of the MAGAZINE. Enough for corrections.

Writer-of-the-Monlh, without a doubt, was Private Jim Erwin from North Africa. While it didn't have much news about other members of the class it told in classic fashion of action behind the lines by Privates Erwin, Frank Bartlett, and JimRendall, and it had a great touch of philosophy that reassures me as to the faith and spirit of the French people.
