THE 3IST ANNUAL MEETING of the Cheshire County Dartmouth Association was held in the private dining room of the Eagle Hotel, Keene, N. H., Tuesday, December 29, 1942. Twenty-five members and guests were present. President Donald Ewing '31, was in charge of arrangements and presided at the meeting.
The officers elected were Donald Ewing '31, president; George Kingsbury '38, vice president; and Russell G. Putney '22, secretary-treasurer. Inasmuch as the vice president and the secretary-treasurer are in the armed forces of the United States, Fuller Ripley was chosen vice president pro tem and Forrest J. Hall 'O3, secretary-treasurer pro tem. It was voted to send a copy of the minutes of the meeting to those members of the association who are serving in the service of the United States during the war. The speaker of the evening was Ross McKenney, instructor in woodcraft at Dartmouth, who entertained with Canadian dialect stories and showed two reels of films made by Larry Lougee '29 on a fishing trip with Mr. McKenney in the Allagash region of Maine in 1940.
