Alumni Dinners

HERBERT F. WEST '22, Professor of Comparative Literature and for many years a contributor to the ALUMNI MAGAZINE, will be the guest speaker at four Dartmouth alumni dinners during the middle of April. He will open his trip at Philadelphia on the evening of Tuesday, April 13, and will then go to Cleveland for the annual alumni dinner at the Allerton Hotel on the 15th. On the following night, the 16th, he will appear in Detroit, and on the evening of Tuesday, April 20, he will bring his tour to a close at Pittsburgh.

A feature of the Cleveland dinner will be drawings for War Bond prizes in a raffle which is being held for the benefit of the scholarship fund.

Alumni gatherings during the past month were featured by the visits of President Hopkins to a number of Dartmouth centers. Albert I. Dickerson '30, executive assistant to the President and executive secretary of the Alumni Fund Committee, was guest of honor at a Dartmouth alumni dinner in Minneapolis on the evening of March 20.
