An article in the Newburyport News states that Prof. Eric Kelly is carrying on an important war-time assignment in Mexico City. He is arranging for the arrival of 1000 Polish refugees from Nazi concentration camps for whom the Mexican government will care during the war.

Dan Hatch Jr. is a captain in the U. S. Army Air Corps and has been assigned to the Army Air Base, Salt Lake City, as Base Processing Officer. Heading a staff of 264 men, he supervises the housing, supply, medical payroll and shipping of all personnel arriving at the base.

Richard L. Brooks is now a full lieutenant, stationed at a Sub-Chaser training school at Miami. Has made two voyages across the ocean and was torpedoed on one trip.

Lawrence F. Brooks has been promoted to a lieutenant (jg) and is a communica- tions officer on the staff of a submarine division.

A letter of thanks and appreciation has been received from Margaret Bell for the flowers sent by the Class.

Several '06ers have been in the Big City recently, among them Norm Russell, Ned French, Halsey Edgerton, Shorty Neal and Harold Rugg.

Crawford M. Bishop is now living at 29-01 167th Street, Flushing, Long Island.

Ned Pearson's new address is 1900 Gough Street, San Francisco, Calif.

Arthur Holmes has an article on wound healing in the New England Journal ofMedicine.
