Camp Edwards

LT. COL. ALLEN P. RICHMOND '14 presided at the April 19 meeting of the Dartmouth College Club of Camp Edwards, held in Post Exchange No. 11. Farewells were said to Lt. Col. John S. Mayer '20, who has been transferred, along with Major "Ike" Powers '34, Lt. Richard M. Wyman Jr. '39, and Lt. Philip W. Brown.

Among newly discovered alumni are Major Parker L. Melvin '17 (promoted April 15th), Executive Officer of the East Coast Processing Center; Lt. Ted Bruce '37, Personnel Officer at the Antiaircraft Artillery Training Center; and Pvt. Kenneth E. Godfrey '26, of the Finance Office at Camp Headquarters.

It is hoped that the Club's decrease in Army members may be made up in the near future by Naval personnel from the new Naval Air Base on the post. All Dartmouth men with the Navy detachment are invited to get in touch with the Club Secretary (Camp phone No. 13).

The Club would appreciate being informed by Class Secretaries of all Camp Edwards addresses of class members, and of any subsequent changes.
