I know that those who attended our 40th Reunion will agree with me that it was one of the best, if not the best, get-togethers we have had for years. George Hubbard and Louis Dow engineered it and Frank Drake most generously stood behind with financial help. Next year we shall greatly miss George Hubbard. He was the spark plug of every 1902 Reunion that I can remember—a grand classmate.

Our good friend Louis Dow has taken on the 1947 Reunion, which guarantees its success. You will hear from him later, and when he writes you say:—"Yes, I'll be there." We want to see every man who can walk. Remember the date, June 20th, 1947.

Roy Hatch has again done an outstanding job with the Alumni Fund. On the basis of "Percentage of Objectives" we are third in the list of 65 classes. It is remarkable to see how Roy does this, sort of like reviving the dead. He says Frank Drake gave him the big boost this year. Roy has been in Central America this past summer.

Bob Smith writes me he has a new car and will meet me in Florida next winter.

Jim Huntington is still busy doing obstetrics and says he really has to work to keep up the fine old manse, Forty Acres, at Hadley, Mass., where the latch string is always out for any 1902 man traveling up the Connecticut Valley.
