The September '07 Luncheon in Boston was lightly attended by Liscomb, Smart and Lane. The October Luncheon will be held on Wednesday, the 30th, and the November Luncheon on Wednesday, the 27th.
Recent '07 visitors to Hanover were Rev. and Mrs. Charles A. Wing, Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Greenwood, and Dr.. and Mrs. Thomas E. Reilly.
The Boston Herald in reporting the death of baseball coach Jeff Tesreau stated that Tesreau was stricken while on a fishing trip with Rip Heneage.
Advice from Runt Martin, whose home for many years was in Chicago, states that he has now settled in Daytona Beach, Fla. He is connected with the Advertising Department of the Daytona News-Journal. Runt reports that he is in excellent health, hopes that he is permanently established in Daytona, and extends a welcome to any Dartmouth friend who may live in his vicinity or visit in Daytona.
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Kelly of Omaha, Nebr., have recently enjoyed a vacation stay at the Mountain View, Whitefield, N. H. Harry's daughter Jean was married last spring to Percy Rideout '40, of Ashburnham, Mass. The young couple will live in Aspen, Colo., where the groom is connected with a new winter resort.
Some months ago Bruno Kimball sent in an interesting report about his son W. R. Kimball Jr. Capt. Kimball had recently returned from his 32 months service in the Pacific. His service had covered many areas and he received a Bronze Star award. In June he was admitted to the Harvard Graduate Business School and is living in Cambridge. One of these days he will be introduced to his father's classmates at a Boston '07 Luncheon. Incidentally, Bruno reports that his nickname is almost unknown to his family and his Ogden, Utah, friends. He hopes and expects to return to Hanover for the Reunion next June.
George Grebenstein continues to be associated with the U. S. Department of Commerce in Worcester, Mass. His responsibility is to assist small business enterprises. Greb's daughter Victoria graduated from Cushing Academy last June, an item of particular interest to the class secretary whose parents were both graduates of Cushing.
