NOTE TO VISITING FIREMEN !!

EACH AND EVERY Thursday the Dartmouth gang of Newark and environs meet for luncheon in the restaurant of L. Bamberger's Department Store at 12:30. The idea is gaining momentum and you can count on renewing old friendships and picking up some new ones. Visit us when you're in town there's always a bull to be thrown and roped or a football game to be replayed.

Plans are completed for postponing one November luncheon to Friday, November 22nd, in order to run a joint Dartmouth-Princeton luncheon at the usual place on the day preceding the game. The Princetonians have elected Johnny Gorman, a footballer of the middle twenties, to quarterback their delegation into a favorable position, while we expect Josh Davis '27 to crack their complacency for a couple of touchdowns before we all trot back to the marts of trade.

Shortly after the dinner in September, Prexy MacKechnie held an organizing and planning meeting with his officers. Tentative plans were developed for activities from date to and including the spring of 1948. Only the smoothing out of final details is required before presentation of the program to the membership in printed form. It may well be that this program will be in your hands before this message appears in the Magazine.
