IN RECOGNITION OF their college on Dartmouth Night, members and guests of the Utica Dartmouth Club gathered together at the Fort Schuyler Club for a dinner meeting. President Jim Capps '19 started the ball rolling with a Dartmouth Night telegram to the college. Jim then introduced our special guest of the evening, Dean Winton Tolles of the newly-formed Utica College, a branch of Syracuse University. After Dean Tolles said a few words, Jim introduced Louis T. Benezet '36, of Syracuse University. Louis gave us a fine talk about the effect the education of war veterans is having on Dartmouth, on Syracuse, and secondary education in general. Everyone agreed that he did an exceptional job.

We are trying something new in the way of Dartmouth Club outings. The whole gang is planning a ski and house-party weekend at Turin, New York, late in January. We expect about twenty or twenty-five couples for Saturday and Sunday and will put up at the Hulbert House in Boonville. We expect to have a real turnout and a lot of fun.
