Night Reporter

A reporter who covers human interest angles of New York life at night, William A. Leonard is the first to conduct a new radio program over WABC called "This is New York." Leonard, who was recently released from the Navy with the rank of lieutenant commander, covers, for his broadcasts, little known metropolitan places and people, as well as those looming larger in the public eye. On Monday through Saturday he reports from 6 to 6:30 A.M.; and in a later afternoon program interviews some of the people he has talked about on his early broadcast. While at Dartmouth, Leonard was managing editor of the Dartmouth his senior year, as well as Sachem Orator.
