WE ARE ALWAYS DELIGHTED tO have a guest from Hanover, and Professor Herbert Hill's visit late in February gave us the best meeting we have had in many months, also the best attended. Great interest was shown in his informal account of present conditions and problems at Dartmouth, many questions were asked and considerable discussion ensued.
New members present were: Winthrop Taft '37, Raymond Unangst '40, and Arthur Jacobson '29. With Bill Grant '19 were his two sons, Bill Jr. '46, who goes back to Hanover to complete his course, interrupted by military service, and Mac (McCord), candidate for the Class of '50. Old friends we were glad to see again were Colonel Judd McCarthy '26, Arthur Lund '27, and Jim Miller '38, now an accountant for Montgomery Ward in Chicago. A welcome newcomer at our March meeting was Sgt. Charles Aaron '36, who has been serving as a technician at Aberdeen Proving Ground. At this March meeting Ben Kenney, '40 Dartmouth Father, displayed the copper trophy cup which the Club is offering to the Maryland Scholastic Association for the school that wins the Lacrosse championship.
