THE REUNION OF 1946
To use the words of one of our departing classmates, "If you can express one half of the pleasure we have had, you will do mighty well."
To those of 1903 who found it impossible to attend I would say that you missed one of he finest of our long series of reunions and we who were present urge you not to miss the
been forewarned that food was carce and dormitory accommodations for lack service might be in poor condition we were surprised to find Ripley, our dorm, in fine condition and the food excellent.
The President's Reception was a delightful informal garden party, the Alumni Ball just the thing for our young people, as Bucky Lewers and Mort French testified at the later headquarters session, and the Players did themselves proud on Saturday evening. On Sunday morning amidst a pouring rain the ride to Vic Cutter's got under way. Vic and Florence as usual were equal to the occasion and threw open the house to the pleasure of the group. At 1 P.M. sixty-three hungry individuals enjoyed a fine dinner served at Lakeside Inn nearby Vic's and it was nearly midafternoon when they returned to "Musa." Due to the inclement weather many felt that they must make an early start for home and the reunion became a most pleasant memory.
The presence of Stan Cobb amongst a group remaining led to a delightful discussion of world affairs, of philosophical subjects ad infinitem, and much informative matter was brought out to the delight of all. As usual the atomic bomb was exploded by no less a personage than Dick Brown and farewells followed in quick quick order.
