AT AN INFORMAL MEETING at the home of Ed Warnke on May 27th, 1946, the Executive Committee of the L. I. Dartmouth Alumni Association decided to resume activities after several years war curtailment. Fifty alumni and guests turned out to hear Coach Tuss McLaughry's informal talk on 1946 football prospects and on conditions in and around Hanover. Tuss predicted a big football season, with the keenest competition in years.
The meeting was held in the dignified Nassau County Bar Association Building at Mineola, L. I. Pres. Rudy Preuss '29 conducted the meeting. Questionnaires were circulated among those present. After some discussion it was unanimously decided to continue the organization actively on the pay-asyou-go-no-dues basis—current expenses to be apportioned among those present at each gathering.
Movies and projector were furnished by Art Hicks '21 and were run off by Ed Warnke's two sons. Refreshments included cold cuts with delicious roast beef sandwiches and plenty of beer. Those present were:

Also present were Col. Bill Coulson '18, father of Bill and Jack Coulson, who were also present, and Cliff Hart Jr., guest. The Association is again geared for activities. It is expected the hundreds of Dartmouth Alumni of Long Island will participate in future events. Watch for the next meeting in the Fall.
