ATTENDING A BANQUET for Dartmouth men „ men in Dallas on December 6, President Dickey addressed a large gathering at the Baker Hotel. Foremost today, he said, must be an adequate plan tor the control of atomic energy and betterment of our international economic relations, with reduced trade barriers. He stressed his belief that colleges today must give their students real understanding of world issues. He extended Dartmouth's welcome to students from Texas. The Dallas Club was glad of the opportunity of meeting and hearing President Dickey.

The new president of the Club is Henry C. Beck Jr. '38, and Robert L. Thornton Jr. '33 was elected secretary.
