John Pray Wadham of New Cumberland, Pa., retired from his work as auditor of the American Tel. & Tel. Cos., Central Area Traffic, at Harrisburg in 1946, and the October issue of the Bell Telephone News carried an account of a luncheon which was tendered him by his associates to honor him on his retirement from the company.

Pray began his career with the New England Tel. & Tel. Cos. in Boston where he remained for seven years. He then went to Kansas City with the American Tel. & Tel. Cos., later being transferred to St. Louis where he became Division Superintendent of Traffic. Subsequent promotions sent him to Philadelphia, Haverford, and finally to Harrisburg as Auditor, Central Area Traffic. When World War II broke he was of age for retirement, but was asked to continue his work for the duration. May we add the congratulations of the class, Pray, to the many you have received for a work well done.

Harold "Pudge" Morse of Cleveland, Ohio, of the firm of H. M. Morse & Cos., Architectural Engineers, writes that his son, Bob, Dartmouth '35, a former major of the Engineer Corps, who had some eight months of base building at Okinawa and a tremendous building program in northern Indiana is back with him after five years in the Army. Pudge almost believes he will be able to take time off to attend the next Reunion. See that he comes, Bob, for some of us haven't seen Pudge since "graduation.

Al Stockwell of West Saint John, New Brunswick, writes most interestingly of his life there. It was in 1938 that Al left Boston and the immediate contacts with Dartmouth men but he says it is a great and happy memory with himthose days with 1903. Mrs. Stockwell has not been in the best of health for the past few years, but they hope to be with us at the next Reunion. We all hope you will, Al, and we promise you a hearty welcome.

Bill MacLennan and wife at Santa Barbara, Calif., have been on a three month's vacation trip to the Yosemite National Park, where they greatly enjoyed the gorgeous scenery, the fall coloring and tKe winter sports. Bill may be of our vintage but he still enjoys mountain climbing, skating and skiing, while Mrs. MacLennan, as always on such trips, makes many colored and pencil sketches. A trip to the East in time for the next gathering of the clan is on the books.

It is not too early to remind you all that in May the 5-Year Class Dinner will again be held in Boston. The men you knew on the campus in college days from the classes of 1901, '02, '03, '04, and '05 will all be there and informality will reign supreme. Plan to be there.
