Karl Lipsohn is the newly appointed office manager and Aviation Department manager of the Boston Chamber of Commerce. A member of the Chamber's staff since May, 1928, Karl has served as asistant in the Commercial and Industrial and the Information and Research departments. He has been secretary of the Chamber-affiliated Junior Executives Club since its inception in 1930 and before that served its predecessor in the same capacity. For the past few years, he has been associate editor of "Boston Business," handling the "Pertinent Personal" column as well as various articles. He will edit a revived "News Bulletin," a summary of Chamber activities to appear in between "Boston Business" dates. The first one is scheduled for later this month. As manager of the Chamber's aviation activities, Karl will act as secretary of the Committee on Aviation. He will also serve in the same capacity for the Committee on Fire Prevention. After graduating from Dartmouth, Karl was for two years in the Statistical Division of the New England Telephone and Telegraph Cos. He has also taught in high schools in Vermont and Ever ett, Mass., and last year gave a seminar in business administration at Northeastern University.

SECRETARY SUCCEEDS. Bill Griffin, able recorder of 1925 doings, was recently named a vice-president of J. Walter Thompson, world's largest advertising agency. He served with the OSS during the war.
