CENTRAL OHIO ALUMNI were honored by a visit from Sid Hayward '26, Secretary of the College, on January 21, 1947.

After an impromptu luncheon at the University Club, Sid spent a busy afternoon under the guidance of Russ Webster, a classmate. Included in the intinerary was a visit to Columbus Academy where Sumner Dennett '15 is headmaster.

Following a social hour dinner was served to 37 alumni at the Columbus Club. After the meal Sid told us some of the problems confronting the College and other items of interest; with entrance possibilities the most popular subject in the discussion period which opened after the talk.

Considering the weather the attendance was very good. A special laurel should go to Dudley Courtwright '30 and to the live-wire Newark group of John Creighton '23, Eddie Williams '35, Chuck Haskell '40, Bob Myers '44and Jim Towsen '44.
