HERB HILL, genial Professor of History, charmed a record Dartmouth throng gathered at the annual meeting of the Alumni Association of Eastern New York.

Herb's reminiscences brought forth a flood of questions about the past, present and future of the Hanover Plain and kept the guest of honor on his feet for an hour and a half. However, he apparently was delighted to oblige, particularly since a check of the minutes of previous meetings showed that he had outdrawn his arch rival, Sid Hayward.

Sherm Murphy '37 presided in his capable fashion. The nominating committee, consisting of Ed Poole '11 and John McAllaster '20, brought in for President the name of Brad Carnell '30 who immediately appointed Milt Aronowitz '13 chairman of the annual meeting for 1948, when President Dickey is scheduled to make his first appearance in the Albany area.

Other officers include Bill Johnson '31, secretary, and Henry Oppenheim '18, treasurer übiquitous.
