Ilsley writes that in January he had a rather severe heart-attack which kept him in bed for five weeks. He has had a good recovery and is able to do his work as a consulting engineer four or five hours a day. He does not feel up to making the Hanover trip, however.

We are going to sorely miss at the Reunion the Class President, Alex Salinger. He and the doctor have decided that, while he is living comfortably within his limits, those limits do not include Hanover this summer. The attendance at the Reunion promises to be very good and the program the Geigers have prepared insures a royal good time for us all.

Of course you have sent Geiger your Alumni Fund subscription by this time.
